Welcome to Ekaara. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of shopekaara.com and any purchases you make from us (together, the "Services"). By visiting our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Who we are

Ekaara designs and makes limited edition, hand block printed clothing in India. Every piece is cut, printed, and checked by hand, which is also why our language throughout this site talks about "batches" rather than mass production.

Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old, or have the involvement of a parent or guardian, to place an order with us. By using the Services, you confirm that the information you provide us is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Products and availability

We photograph and describe every piece as accurately as we can, but because our fabrics are hand block printed in batik style, small variations in print placement, colour, and texture between individual garments are normal and are part of the craft, not a defect.

When a size sells out, we do not rush a restock just to fill a rail. We wait until we can make it properly. This means some pieces may show as unavailable for a period before they return, and we do not guarantee that a specific print, colour, or size will be restocked.

Pricing and payment

All prices on the Services are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.

We accept UPI, cards, net banking, and supported wallets. Ekaara currently does not offer Cash on Delivery (COD).

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to refuse or cancel an order, including after it has been placed, if we discover a pricing or listing error, suspected fraud, or an issue with payment.

Orders, shipping, and delivery

Once you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email. Orders are packed and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days of payment confirmation.

Returns, exchanges, and refunds

Ekaara currently offers exchanges only in accordance with our Exchanges Policy.

Our Exchanges Policy sets out the applicable 7-day exchange window from delivery, the condition items must be in, eligibility requirements, and the exchange process.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind. Where a product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise requires a remedy under applicable law, we will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer protection requirements.

Discount codes and promotions

Discount codes, offers, and promotions are valid only for the period we specify and may be limited, changed, or withdrawn at any time without notice. Codes cannot usually be combined unless we say otherwise, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Your account

If you create an account with us, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Please tell us right away at support@shopekaara.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to interfere with their normal operation, submitting false or fraudulent orders, scraping or copying our content for commercial use without permission, or using the Services for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

All content on the Services, including our name, logo, product photography, prints, illustrations, and written content, belongs to Ekaara or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ekaara will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Services or from products purchased through them. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as our business or the law changes. The updated version will be posted here with a new effective date, and continuing to use the Services after that update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having authority over our registered place of business.
